Shepherds Hill Allotments

I'm very sorry to have to let you know that sadly Colin Roberts died in hospital on Sunday night.  Colin was the Vice President of the Central Hornsey and District Allotment and Horticultural Society (CHADAHS) - the society that runs the trading sheds at the Shepherds Hill and Ally Pally Allotment Sites, as well as our fabulous Annual Show in September.  Colin will be a huge loss to the CHADAHS Show and to Ally Pally Allotments.  Colin had boundless energy and he was still going to his allotment until about three weeks ago when he was admitted to hospital. He was an inspiration to us all about how much can be achieved on an allotment site and had his plots for longer than anyone could remember.  There will be a huge gap at this year's Show without Colin's presence and his knowledge, and of course his flowers, vegetables and apples.  He was simply passionate about his allotment and the Ally Pally site.  

We will let you know funeral arrangements and will find a way of remembering Colin at the CHADAHS Show in September.
