I was elected to the committee last year and have participated in the usual committee business, fixed a few things, limbed a few trees and looked after the chequebooks.
I have a reasonable grasp of the practicalities of mending and making, a basic knowledge of accounting and enjoy my gardening. I believe I am open to debate and to others questioning my opinions. What I do not have is much free time, so if re-elected, I will only be able to make a contribution similar to that made this past year.

I have had an allotment on our beautiful site since around 1995 and a member of the site committee for the last year. I want to help us to maintain this special area in the interests of all and to ensure we are ready for possible devolution from the Council and the challenges of self-management. If this does take place, we will need an active and effective committee. As a Trade Union Officer and University lecturer, I have many years experience of committee work and have also been involved in several local campaigns. Until recently, I was a member of the Hornsey and Crouch End Conservation Area Advisory Committee. I am now semi-retired and have more time not only to devote to my own allotment but also to the preservation and progress of the Shepherd's Hill site.

I've had an allotment ( 53b) on the Shepherd's Hill Site for over 25 years. I have also been on the shed rota for a number of years now and for the past few years I have also organised the annual  Plant Sale. I have also helped run the teas at the September Shows. I  also serve hot refreshments and biscuits on what has come to be known as Potato Day and this year for the first time provided refreshments at  the perennials and seeds swap.  For the past two years now I have also helped to cut back, prune and weed the herbaceous border on the left of the entrance path at the Montenotte End. I love the Site and the gardening and the friendships generated there. It would be a privilege to be on the Committee and share in the work of that group.

I have been a gardener for over 40 years and had a plot on Shepherd's Hill for 15 years. I would like to continue to work to produce a strong committee able to manage the site for the benefit of all and negotiate with the Council and other external bodies as necessary. I offer: Integrity, common sense, financial literacy and determination; good knowledge of horticulture, history of and the challenges facing allotments; CHADAHS Treasurer for 12 years, working with committee members at Shepherd's Hill and Alexandra Palace; attended Haringey Allotment Forum on behalf of Shepherd’s Hill since 2008. I have enjoyed working with other committee members and hope we can go forward to produce the best result for devolved management for Shepherd's HillAllotments

I've been a plotholder here for 30 years and want to make a contribution to running the site. As well as serving on this committee for the last 10 years or so I'm also a committee member for CHADAHS, Muswell Hill and Highgate horticultural societies and believe I can offer a certain amount of knowledge and experience.

I have been a keen gardener for more than 40 years. I have enthusiastically and conscientiously maintained my plot at Shepherd's Hill for 22 years (and 10 years previously in another region). During this time I have established good relations with all my neighbours on adjacent plots and have complied with all the relevant regulations. I love Shepherd's Hill Allotments. I am applying for Allotment Committee Member status so I can contribute to and encourage the democratic working of the committee as well as helping to foster beneficial relations with all tenants.
