AGM
Thank you to the 40 or so plotholders who braved the cold and attended our AGM. Business was brief as no elections were needed. The new committee is Nick Finley, Les Garner, Annie Griffiths, Kathy Riddle, Gary Sycamore and Trevor Wyatt. The draft minutes to the AGM, which will be formally agreed next year, are here.
CHADAHS trading shed news
Lynn has asked to pass on this message from CHADAHS...
"Many thanks to everyone involved in the running of the Trading Shed during 2016 either working in the shed on Sunday morning and/or helping unload deliveries; Julia (shed coordinator), Andy, Frances, Annie, Marilyn, Jill, Ian, Fi, Tim, Fiona, Jem, Liane, Esther, Richard H. and Richard G.
Winter Trading Shed opening times are; 11.00 -12.00pm, 8th January, 22nd January, 5th February.
12th February 2017 is also the start of the Trading Shed Spring/Summer opening hours; 11.00 -1.00 every Sunday."
Potato day, refreshments, onions, shallots and more!
Potato Day next year is Sunday 12th February. Pre-paid seed potato orders will be ready for collection and there will be a small range of seed potatoes for sale including Desiree, Charlotte, Lady Christl, Anya, Pink Fir Apple, Red Duke of York and Abbot. Quantities on some varieties are limited. Onion sets and shallots and the new seed order will have arrived and all other stock lines replenished.
Come along to pick up your orders, buy potatoes or have a coffee and meet people - refreshments provided.
Paths
Please remember that all plotholders are responsible for maintaining the paths around their plot and keeping them mown and accessible. If you have a neighbour who finds this difficult please give them a hand.
