Great Works. A Huge thank you to Gary and those who joined his team

A good start was made on the path on 25th March and lots of thanks to the hard working team of Hugh Bodger, Paul Jones, Peter Till and Trevor Wyatt. Gary hopes to initiate another session soon - it'll take a few of these over the year but hopefully will be mostly finished before next Winter.
NB PLEASE don't assume that the sacks of pea shingle and gravel ( next to the track near to Gary's plot. for the bodpaving project ) are 'dumped rubbish' which you can add to with your own rubbish. There is NO DUMPING permitted on the Site.

Water issues
We are looking to fix the problems around leaking tanks and faulty or non-existent taps. You can help us with this by emailing info@shepherdshillallotments.co.uk if you notice any problems with the tank near you, indicating the position of the tank by including the number of the plot nearest to it.
PLEASE NOTE the water fountains have been turned off or otherwise disabled. They are unsafe. Please DONT turn them on. The water in the taps on the tanks is of course mains water and as such safe to drink. We will endeavour to fix the water problems asap. But also please collect rainwater where possible. We've had hose-pipe bans in the recent past. You never know!
Finally, and most importantly do not attach a hosepipe to a tap and then go off and leave it. Think about others.
