Dear Allotment Holders
A couple of seasonal messages.
1) OCTOBER TRADING SHED NEWS
All the usual allotment gardening supplies are in stock, including incinerators,manure, large tub-trugs, ericaceous compost, ground cover, ground cover pegs.
After November 4th opening hours reduce for winter & the Trading Shed will be open;
11.00-12.00
18th Nov, 2nd Dec, 6th Jan, 20th Jan, 3rd Feb
In January orders will open for manure, with delivery in February; details to be circulated nearer the time.
Potato Day next year is February 17th – when pre-ordered seed potatoes will be ready for collection. Potatoes to buy will include Anya, Desiree, Charlotte & Lady Christl.
2) The mains water supply has now been turned off for the winter- as is the rule.
So remember that if you want to make a cuppa up at your plot you'll need to take water supplies with you.
NB There'll be more info very soon on the AGM to be held on 15th September at the Victoria Stakes Pub at 7 pm.
