Gary has started his Sunday Farmers Market stall again in aid of the Harington Scheme – any excess produce – flowers, fruit and vegetables gratefully received – help support a great local charity! Bring to his plot 108b Friday or Saturday or call him on 07899022455 and he’ll collect.
Highgate Horticultural Summer Show
This Saturday 13th July at 2.00pm. Flowers, fruit, vegetables, produce stalls, homemade teas, raffle, auction of donated exhibits. At the United Reformed Church, South Grove, Highgate, N6 6BA.
A request from a PhD student
Catalina Cruz has sent us this message:
"I´m a PhD student working with Ellen on the benefits of urban agriculture projects. Currently, I'm trying to demonstrate the link between allotments and public health benefits. I would love to know about your experience. Hence I'm wondering if you can help by answering a quick survey (7 minutes tops and multiple answers) and distributing the survey with other gardeners, we need as many data as we can gather, and we can only accomplish that with your help. I know you've been asked to respond to another survey recently, but I'm looking for people from the same project to answer so we can make comparisons. Hopefully, with your help, we can build an excellent case to stimulate local authorities to support more urban agricultural projects. Thank you for your help".

Finally.... We recently received the sad news that Sid Puddy had died. Sid was a longstanding and well liked allotment holder (Plot 74a). His funeral was last week and a number of plotholders attended.
