Plant sale
A reminder that there is another of our mini sales happening on Sunday 14th June. 10.00 - 12.00. Any plot holders who would like to put up some plants to sell please contact Annie with name, plot number and what you think you'll have to offer by midnight on Thursday 11th so that we can circulate to all plot holders by the weekend.
A Message from Plot holder Janie Biegun
Hi, I’m involved in a community project creating a veg garden with residents of a homeless shelter in Muswell Hill. We are hoping to get hold of some second hand tools and I was wondering if anyone might have any to spare? If so I would be very grateful if you could contact me either by phone or via email: and I will arrange to pick up anything you have to offer. Thanks in advance,
Janie (81a)
Shed available
A local resident in Glasslyn Road, Adrian, has a shed to offer anyone who would like it and can go and collect it. Dismantled and available for collection from central Crouch End, early June. Exact time TBC. In good, solid, general condition. Floor in excellent condition and rot free. Most wall panels in good condition, however, there are a couple of areas of rot. Will require new bearers and a couple of weather strips. Sadly no instructions, but simple build. First come first served!
Contact Adrian for details
Anne Sherry, also of Glasslyn Road says:
There are 23 18 x 18 pavings with lots of offcuts and quite a few house bricks free for collection. They’re in the side passage of a house at the top of Glasslyn Road, so quite near the school entrance to the allotment. Please phone Anne Sherry if you’re interested.
Bruno has some drainage pipes available:
There are a few plots that suffer from swampy boggy areas. A solution would be to install some drainage. Bruno has some perforated underground drainage pipe which would be good for draining swampy areas. He has at least 20 metres of it though willing to sell it in smaller quantities and for not very much at all. If interested please call Bruno.
