Shepherds Hill Allotments

Thanks to all for making the plant sale such a success and a lovely day last Sunday.  A special thanks to all the brilliant helpers, putting up gazebos, selling, making teas, washing up, etc. etc.  And all those who donated plants and who made delicious cakes – every single slice went!  We raised over £1,300, half of which goes to the Harington Scheme, and the other half to much needed maintenance work on the site (tree pruning, drainage work, track improvements, etc.)
 
The next Sunday discussion group and lunch will be on Sunday 22^nd May.  From 12 – 1pm Gary Sycamore will lead a discussion about soil and how to make good compost – not to be missed! Then lunch (soup and bread, cake and tea and coffee) from 1 – 2pm.  Hope to see you there.
